Steak and Bowls evening at the Grove in Leominster

Wed, Apr 30th 2025 at 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

We met at the Grove Golf and Bowl, south of Leominster on the A49, for steak and chips (or fish/veggie option) and a game of ten-pin bowls.

We had a great time at the Grove Golf and Bowl, just south of Leominster on the A49. The food was excellent—the steak was tender, and they also offered a vegetarian option at no extra cost.

This was a very sociable and enjoyable evening, as always. We were joined by Leominster Rotary Club members Andrew, Hilary, President Paul, Penny, Ian, Lin, Michael, and Geoff. We also welcomed friends of our Rotary Club Steve and Vi, Martin and Christine, Carole and Martin, Ralph and Liz, and Howard and Jackie. Rotary members attending were Ivan, Cathy, Doug, Paul, Kim, Sheila, Dave, and Tom. 26 in total - good support!

As usual there were a lot of gutters, quite a few spares and a few strikes. The top score was with Rotarian Paul Weir getting 90 ...Great job Paul! Though Ralph got 101, but he had help from Dave!

We were delighted that everyone had a great time, smiles all round and we hope that we will see everyone again soon!
