Charity Draw Evening Sept 2007

This evening attracted over 100 guests, including the Deputy Mayor Councillor Mary Smith and her husband.  The entertainment commenced with the choir from Seaburn Dene Primary School singing for us.  How good they were, a credit to their teacher and their school.

We then had the draw for the prizes for the Charity Raffle, undertaken by the Deputy Mayor.  There was also a subsidiary raffle for representatives of the charities taking part.

After an enjoyable buffet supper provided by the Millview Social Club, we were entertained by a singer and his dancing partner.  Altogether a most enjoyable evening, the culmination of an event that enabled over 30 local charities to benefit from a total of almost £6,000 raised through the raffle.
