The annual Strathcarron Hospice ladies Midnight Tiara Walk was held on 18 May.
It is the biggest fundraiser by far for the Hospice and the club have supported this event since it started in 2009 by providing stewards along the route. This year, as well as 13 members turning out to provide the encouragement, we had 4 of our ladies taking part. Jill Adams, Audrey Cooper, Mary Fraser and Gillian Weighton donned their tiaras and pac-a-macs on a very wet Saturday night to join well over 1200 similarly attired ladies on the annual walk. Undaunted by the weather, all the girls made their way round the 5 or 10k route to raise an estimated £250k for the Hospice.
It was a tremendous achievement from all involved - well done!
