The menu is
STARTERS:
1. PRAWN COCKTAIL- king prawns, crispy romaine and gem lettuce with spiced tomato and cognac mayo dressing.
2. GARLIC BUTTON MUSHROOMS- smoked garlic,double cream and white wine, Garstang goats cheese gratin.
3.CHICKEN LIVER PARFAIT- streaky bacon,dressed salad leaves, caramelised sweet onion chutney, hot toast.
4.BRAISED MILD CURRIED LEEK AND POTATO SOUP- crispy fried croutons,aerated cream, truffle oil and herbs.
MAIN COURSE:
1. ROAST BREAST OF GOOSNARGH TURKEY, sage and onion forcemeat stuffing, sausage and bacon roll, rich roasting juices and cranberry chutney.
2. POACHED FLEETWOOD MARKET SALMON, stir fried spinach, capers, prawns and parsley veloute.
3. LEG OF PENDLE HILL LAMB, slow roasted with garlic and rosemary, served as a steak with roasting juices.
4. WILD MUSHROOM AND TOMATO LASAGNE, baked with gruyere cheese, basil pesto.
All dishes served with fresh winter vegetables, new potatoes, and chunky chips.
THERE WILL BE A SELECTION OF HOMEMADE DESSERTS, FOLLOWED BY FRESHLY GROUND COFFEE AND MINTS.
