Moira House Shelter Box Presentation

The pupils and staff of Moira House Junior School presented a cheque for £495.00 to SMRC Pres.Elect  Rtn.Clive Rimell,for the purchase of a Shelter Box.

The pupils raised the money themselves specifically for this purpose, after a talk to the school by Seaford Martello Rotary Club(SMRC) earlier on in the year, about the  operation of the Rotary Shelter Boxes scheme.

Pres.Elect Clive thanked the pupils and staff on behalf of SMRC and Rotary in general praising the pupils,staff and parents' valiant efforts and very generous donation towards the purchase of a Shelter Box.He assured them that SMRC would keep them informed of the 'journey' and ultimate destination of the Shelter Box which their much valued cheque will be purchasing.
