Amelia Trust
The equipment layout was designed by Bob Wilson, who also provided info about sourcing timber and the attachments, with an indication of cost. Then working with the staff and the young people attanding the Trust a number of members of the Club assisted with clearing the site, preparing the timber and building. This project was 'cost neutral' to the Club as grants were made available from RWE Npower (Aberthaw) and the Llandfill Tax Credit Scheme.
The completion of the equipment means the Amelia Trust has another safe facility for the enjoyment of families with children. “We are so grateful to Cowbridge Rotary, and our own young people who have worked together, clearing the site, planning and constructing this new play-activity. It is an excellent example of partnership” says Director Rev John Stacey-Marks.
