Fellowship Evening

On Thursday 30th March the Rotary Club of South Queensferry held a fellowship meeting. During the evening, Graham Clarkson and explained the club's website and demonstrated some forthcoming improvements and Morag McCallum talked about the significance to the club of social media such as Twitter and Facebook. President Graham Leith congratulated the speakers and thanked them for their invaluable contribution to raising the profile of the club and publicising its activities.

Secretary Alan Brown announced that registration for this year's Rotary Forth Bridge Abseil was now complete and the list was closed. The event will take place on Sunday 28th May. The adopted charities this year are The Yard, which provides indoor and outdoor adventure playgrounds for children and young people with disabilities, and Age Scotland, the largest charity in Scotland dedicated to supporting people in later life. Abseiling places are also taken by other local charities.
