RCAD Welcomes two new members.

Two New members were inducted into our club in November & December17

Welcome to Rotary to Veronika (Veja) Olbertova and David Gair, who recently became the newest members of Rotary Club of Aberdeen Deeside.

Our membership base is growing and with it grows our ability to make a difference in our community. Look out for our exciting new projects in 2017. If you’d like to find out more about our club, please come along to one of our meetings.

Veronika (Veja) Olbertova, a guest of Julien Brown-

New member Veja was inducted into the Club at our meeting on 22Nov17.

Julien introduced Veja who is from the Slovakia and is a final year Biology student at Aberdeen University; she is also an enthusiastic Rotaract member and will be a real asset to the Club – and our youngest member.  She will act as link between Rotaract and our Club.

David Gair, a guest of John Etchells, was introduced by Gordon Skinner-

New member David was inducted into the Club at our meeting on 6Dec17.

Gordon introduced David who is originally from the Isle of Man. David worked in the Oil & Gas Industry and he is now retired and lives in Cults.

As part of the inductions, Rotarians Harry Arnold and Bill Jamieson reminded everyone of the Objectives of Rotary and Rotarians Ewen Hatchwell and Robert Bell read out the Four Way Test.

President Dave Gordon handed Veja and David their badges of membership and Julien and Gordon escorted them round the members so that they could be welcomed personally by all present.
