AGM 2018

Another successful annual event has further boosted Rhyl’s charitable accounts with more than £500 resulting from the recent Plant Fair, President Keith Roberts reported at the club’s annual meeting at Faenol Fawr. Held at its regular venue at Trefnant Village Hall, the venture had once again produced a very worthwhile profit, he said, warmly thanking all those who had contributed in various ways to help ensure the gratifying outcome yet again. The meeting agreed to re-elect both the Bishop of St Asaph Dr Gregory Cameron and former treasurer Peter Wistow as honorary members while officers elected for the forthcoming year included Youth Service Howard Ferdinando, Programme Secretary D.K.Roberts and Web Site Mike Howarth. The future and frequency of the club’s annual Charter Night celebrations is to be discussed at the next meeting of the Club Council prior to inviting the full club membership to take a considered decision.
