Picnic at Lily Hill Park

A picnic at the Park and a tour by the rangers to see the trees we planted last year

On Monday 1st July the club enjoyed a picnic at Lily Hill Park, Bracknell. Before the party we were taken on a tour of the park by Wardens John and Jamie. From them we learned a great deal about the park, its owners and the abundant wildlife. Our picnic took place seated at the longest table in Berkshire if not England! Great fun for all members with the lovely sunset casting long shadows across the meadow.

Our grateful thanks to Bruce Irvine and Les Howard for organising the event.
