Work in the Community

One of the roles of Rotary is to carry-out volunteer work in the community.

Following a presentation from Lift Partnership, the Rotary Club of Ewell were asked to help Linden Bridge School with some projects they had in mind.

The first was to create a Woodland Classroom for their students in a patch of woodland next to their site. This needed to be fenced in, with the first step clearing away shrubs and trees to create access.

Members and friends of the club formed a work party and over two sessions created the acces for the fencing team. The weather held out well for us and we all enjoyed our woodland experience.

We are planning other projects with the school and hope that more people will be able to join us in them.
