Tuesday 12th November 2019. Park at the Corinium Hotel.

Arrive at Hotel to park 10.30 to 10.45am but no later please!!

An eight to ten minute walk to the museum

Corinium Museum 11.00am

An short introductory talk on arrival at the museum with an opportunity to look around the objects in the various galleries to see Prehistoric tools, Roman mosaics, Anglo Saxon grave goods and medieval sculpture.

Ample seats are placed around the museum and Jack’s Café is next door for refreshments.

The museum has received many awards including Small Visitor Attraction of the Year and has a five star rating.

Group entry fee £4.45 per person.

Group introductory talk £25.00 (divided equally between the members of the group).

Directions to Corinium Hotel Car Park

A417 to Cirencester and proceed towards the Town Centre, at the large roundabout on the ring road take the third exit to Cheltenham A435. At the traffic lights left turn and then take the first right into Trafalgar Road. (Ashley House Nursing Home on the corner). A few yards to the Corinium Car Park on the left.

If necessary, please double-park in front of another Rotary car.

Please meet just inside the hotel and we can walk to the museum together.

Directions to Museum

Leave by the FRONT entrance of the hotel and go left, right the end and straight past the parish church and keep straight on. The museum has scaffolding on the front façade and the walk will take approximately 8 to 10 minutes.

There are many attractive shops in Cirencester and the Parish Church is worth a visit and you can take advantage of the free parking!
