Rotary Youth Leadership Award
RYLA is an intensive leadership course open to those aged 14 - 30. It involves a 3 day retreat with activities, workshops and presentations (usually held every April and October). The course develops personal growth, leadership and citizenship.
Youth Speaks
A public speaking competition. Confidence in speaking in public is a very important skill, and this competition for local schools is an excellent way to develop this. Local heats and a regional competition leads to a national final.
Young Photographer
Creative skills like photography, cooking, writing are all fostered through Rotary competitions, and photography has been particularly popular. Local heats, regional competition and a national final are all opportunities to excel in these skills.
