2021 Farnham Pilgrim Marathon

Sun 12th September 2021 at 9.00 am - 5.00 pm

One of the most scenic, yet challenging events in the Marathon Calendar. Here are some photos from the 2020 event run with Covid-19 precautions in place

Farnham Pilgrim Marathon ( or Half Marathon) has been described as possibly one of the prettiest trail events in the UK. It is set to be one of the “must-do” events of the year! The route is equally challenging but rewarding after all it is the Surrey Hills! The Farnham Pilgrim was awarded a trophy for the “Best New Event” after its inaugural running in 2010. Since that date it has been consistently highly-rated by participants.

Runners have said

Thank you so much to the organisers and marshals at today’s Farnham Pilgrim event. It was so good to run in an actual running event once again. Your staggered starts, pre-race checks, water stations, signage, pre-event emails, etc were absolutely fantastic.”

Thank you for giving runners a purpose to train properly at last for a real race, it meant such a lot to so many of us.”

I just wanted to thank you for a great race this morning, it was very well organised and in light of the current COVID crisis I felt extra pleased to be able to race as so many events have been cancelled.”

…you have made a lot of runners very happy. Tired, stiff, sore maybe, but very happy to have taken part in a proper race.”
