The Rotary Club of Elland Santa Sleigh makes a TV appearance
A representative of the Dave Channel contacted The Rotary Club of Elland in order to use the Santa Sleigh in a Christmas episode of 'Meet the Robinsons'
A TV production team for the Dave Channel approached the Rotary Club of Elland with a request to use the Santa Sleigh in an Episode of 'Meet the Richardsons' to be filmed in the Calder Valley.
The Members of the club saw this as an opportunity to promote Rotary to a large audience, the first series of 'Meet the Robinsons' having drawn average audiences of over 1 million per episode
Rotarian Glyn Eyles drove the tow vehicle for the Sleigh during the filming with the spectacle being watched by many members of the public as well as members of the Rotary Club of Elland.
The Episode will go out during December 2020 aired on the Dave Channel.
