Club Meeting

On Thursday 4th February, President Irene Brownless chaired a very lively virtual business meeting of the Rotary Club of South Queensferry during which the club's future activities under covid restrictions were discussed. President Irene also announced that the lollipops which would have been used on Santa's Sleigh had been donated to Jane Harkin of the charity Big Hearts Befrienders.

On Friday 5th February, President Irene delivered ten android tablets to Queensferry Primary School from which they will be distributed to four local primary schools. The Rotary Club acquired the refurbished tablets through the University of Edinburgh IT Re-use Project, which helps connect organisations and individuals who genuinely need IT. On behalf of the head teachers of the schools, President Irene thanked the University of Edinburgh for the kind donation which will help with home schooling.
