Ronald Ainsworth Trophy Award 2021

HAYLEIGH HONOURED FOR HELPING OTHERS
This year three young people were nominated for
the Ronald Ainsworth Trophy, awarded by Rotary to a young person who had made a
difference in the community. After careful consideration, the award went to
Hayleigh Glendinning, who is now starting on year S6 at Queensferry High
School. Since 2018, Hayleigh has been a
Police Scotland Youth Volunteer and her aim is to join the police force. She is
community minded, caring and happy to give up her time to support others. Her
volunteering has seen her running events at Ocean Terminal, helping with Santa
and assisting at many charity occasions. Hayleigh is a cheerful and friendly
girl with a positive outlook and was nominated for the trophy by Queensferry
High School
