The Association was formed in 2003 as a project in the community, as a result of the Fife Learning Partners programme.

The associations objects are :

To promote Rosyth's heritage, particularly its Garden City origins and its Royal Naval Dockyard.

to seek to protect Rosyth's historic, architectural and environmental heritage.

To enhance community spirit within Rosyth area and to provide educational and social opportunities for its residents, in particular the primary school children

Throughout the year they hold annual themed exhibitions, give talks to outside groups, give guided tours round Rosyth Castle and Doocot and walks round Rosyth.
