Care for The Carers hold a regular monthly group in Bexhill and fund a Christmas meal for them
Their groups provide carers with a chance to meet other people in caring roles, spend time together, have a break from their caring role, and receive support from one of their specialist support workers.
For many carers the Christmas meal will be the only opportunity they have to get a break from their caring role over the festive period. With the cost of living crisis having a massive impact on carers (85% of local carers are worried about their finances), it may also be the only chance they have to have a treat themselves.
