The Hawes Inn in South Queensferry was the venue on Thursday 29th June for Rotary South Queensferry's handover meeting.
Outgoing President Sandy Mackenzie presented the two club awards for exceptional service. The Jim Boyd Paperweight went to Rashida Saeed for leading the management and organisation of the Daawat Lunch and the Bollywood Night. The John Rennie Trophy was awarded to Liz Mackenzie for organising the weekly club meals at the Hawes.
In the presence of two representatives from the Rotary Club of Kirkaldy Sandy presented a cheque for £3325, the receipts of the recent Bollywood Night held jointly by Rotary South Queensferry and Rotary Kirkaldy, to Morag Idan representing Prostate Scotland.
President Sandy Mackenzie congratulated his team for a very creditable performance, particularly in Community Service projects. He then handed over the chain of office to Neil McKinlay. President Neil then presented the Vice President's Medallion to Sybille Handley-Schachler and the Junior Vice President's Badge Matt Purdie.
The meeting closed with an impressive video presentation by Gerald Smith of Immediate Past President Sandy Mackenzie's presidential year.
