Signed Scotland Rugby Shirt raffle raises over £300

Our signed Scotland Rugby Shirt raffle has been won by Debbi from Bearsden who bought winning ticket #45. Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket or donated. Over £300 has been raised for Kidney Kids.


Raffle for a Scotland Rugby shirt, signed by members of the 2019/20 squad with many still in the current squad and a couple recently retired.   Ticket price £1. Buy your raffle tickets at Allander Rotary (sumupstore.com)  Tickets on sale until 9pm on 26th September 2023.   Draw to made on 27th September.

The shirt is mounted in a glass covered wooden frame. Signed when the squad was at a training session at Stirling High School. Obtained by one of the teachers as a favour from the squad for the use of the schools facilities. Shirt itself is a 2017/18 jersey. Given to Allander Rotary to raise funds for Kidney Kids Scotland with all of the money raised going to the charity.

Signatures include  Stuart Hogg, Ali Price, Jonny Gray, Blair Kinghorn, Darcy Graham and Stuart McInally

In 2019 Allander Rotary decided that they would like to offer the residents of Milngavie, Bearsden, the surrounding area and wider public a new service. Free to attend, a lecture on a topic of general interest and where no audience expertise was necessary

Record of the winners and money raised for East Dunbartonshire Foodbank from a Hamper Raffle in December 2022. 675 tickets sold. Additional donations means £800 going to the ED Foodbank.

The Firth o Clyde Rotary Trail (FoCRT) runs from the Mull of Galloway to Milngavie via Greenock and the Erskine Bridge. The route comprises the Mull of Galloway Trail, The Ayrshire Coastal Path and the Clyde Coastal Path.
