Manningtree Rotrians refurbish the Mistley Shelter

Re-furbished shelter officially re-opens.

Passers-by at the shelter along the walls by the River Stour at Mistley will have seen volunteers from our club working on it’s refurbishment recently. The project came to fruition today when Ruth Frost, Vice Chair of Mistley Council met with members of the Rotary Club of Manningtree Stour Valley for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Rotary is an international service organisation of volunteers dedicated to serving their communities at home and abroad. Refurbishing the Mistley Shelter is just one of the hands-on projects the club has undertaken for our communities over many years.
We meet almost every Thursday at The Crown in Manningtree. If you would like to find out more about us please do contact our membership officer Nigel Dyson for more information. Email:nigel@garden-shows.com
