Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
22nd March - RYLA 2020 has been cancelled owing to the coranovirus pandemic
RYLA is a residential course held each July
in The Forest of Dean which aims to improve the leadership skills of young
people aged between 16 and 18.
a series of challenging, practical and theoretical exercises, the RYLA course
provides opportunities to improve leadership and communication skills, and
include a ropes course, canoeing, climbing, abseiling and orienteering. The
programme is carefully structured so that exercises are backed by theory to
develop leadership and team skills.
