Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Uxbridge

The Rotary Club of Uxbridge

Welcome to our site... glad you could join us

The Rotary Club of Uxbridge was Chartered in 1932 and though one of the oldest Rotary Clubs in the area, we are young at heart and full of energy for the many and varied projects we are involved in both in our community and internationally.

We raise funds for these projects through our Autoshow. Held on a sunny Sunday in mid-July, it attracts over 2,000 vehicles and some 10,000 visitors. The Autoshow is said to be the biggest one-day event for Vintage and Collectors’ vehicles in the South of England and is a major event in Uxbridge’s diary. It involves all the members of the Club and though exhausting, provides great fellowship and is superb fun.

We are a busy Club and you can learn a little more about some of the projects we are involved in by clicking on the Committees listed under Club Activities on the left.

About our Town

Uxbridge is an old Market Town situated at the westernmost edge of London where it meets the countryside. We are extremely well located, close to London Heathrow Airport and with the M4, M40 and M25 Motorways on our doorstep, we have easy access to London and excellent communications with the rest of England. We are proud that Uxbridge is home to Brunel University, one of the foremost Universities in the World. The town boasts two busy shopping centres and clustered around its centre are the HQ buildings of Allied Irish Bank, Cadbury Schweppes, Unisys, Hertz and Avis. Despite being a modern, bustling town, Uxbridge retains much of its old-world charm.
