Chris Perry's speaker today will be Rob Sproston, who self trained as a sports photographer and was fortunate to reach the pinnacle of his career covering many of the major sporting events. He will talk about his Sporting Life.


A SPORTING LIFE

Robert Sproston lives in Nantwich, Cheshire, his hometown and has been involved in the Sporting Industry for over 40 years.

Self trained as a sports photographer and was fortunate to reach the pinnacle of his career covering many of the major sporting events.

Covered hundreds of football matches, including FA Cup finals, International matches, European matches and many more. Also covered 14 World Championship Boxing fights, The Grand National on many occasions, TT Races, Snooker, Cricket, Darts, Rugby, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Athletics.

Was fortunate enough to have covered many news stories, the riots in Moss Side and Toxteth, many Royal visits and countless other news stories.
