Rtn. David Jackson - Vocational Service

Thu, Oct 24th 2013 at 12:00 am - 12:00 am

Member David Jackson tackled the issues of Vocational Service in a rather unusual manner ...

Rather than giving us some sort of presentation, David decided to provoke a discussion or debate, along the lines of "University or Apprenticeship? - Academic versus Vocational Education".  A lively discussion followed and - inevitably perhaps - no real conclusion was reached although the consensus seemed to be that too much empahasis is currently placed on a University education at the expense of vocational training.
