After giving us a brief history of the Foundation - established in 1917; first grants made in 1927; 10,000 matching grants made by 2000; more than 10,000 grants made by 2006 - Catherine went on to explain some aspects of the recently introduced grant procedures. She also described District 1030's donation performance - and encouraged us all to become "sustaining members" - $100 every Rotarian, every year.
The Rotary Foundation is our own Charity - read more of the Foundation in the UK (TRFUK) and in Rotary International.
