A most unusual meeting! 

William is at Durham University studying on a post-graduate Computer Sciences course.  He told us something of his background in Brazil and that, at the age of eight years, he was introduced to the world of magic which has a had a defining effect on the rest of his life!  He maintains that acquiring the discipline needed to master a multitude of mainly card tricks has been of significant benefit in all his subsequent studies.  He then went on to demonstrate a variety of card tricks at each table - the the bemused amazement of everyone there!
