Speaker Tricia Restorick - Dilemmas and Decisions: Autumn 1914

Tricia Restorick is the retired head of 6th form at Guiseley High School & in 2013 became the first female President of Bradford Mechanics Institute.

Her talk is called 'Dilemmas and Decisions: Autumn 1914'.  It covers the various responses of Bradfordians to the declaration of war in 1914, especially the Bradford business community (including German merchants), local families, sports clubs and school leavers. She also has some pull-up displays which members should find interesting.
