CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING EVENT
North Wales Shooting School, Tuesday 22nd September 2015
All abilities welcome

The Rotary Club of Chester is holding a Clay Pigeon shooting event to raise funds in memory of our dear member, Mr. John Edge, who passed away in February this year. His family has asked for the proceeds from the event to be donated to a local prostate cancer support group to help fund a new ‘sniffer’ dog called Edgie.  Recent advances have meant that successful training of these dogs has been beneficial in helping to identify prostate cancer in its early stages.

Although run as a competition, the event will be open to all abilities, from complete beginners to accomplished shots.  The school will provide training, equipment and supervision to ensure that everyone has a safe and successful experience.  They train individuals from 8-10 years of age to octogenarians, and they are able to accommodate those with limited physical abilities.

You can enter as an individual or as a team of four.  There will be a prize for the ‘High Gun’, (the person who is the best shot on the day) and also the winning team of four.

The cost of entry is £55 per person to include the clays, cartridges, training and advice, also tea or coffee and bacon roll on arrival at 9.30 a.m. and a hearty lunch at the end of the competition at approximately 1.00 p.m.  We expect the event to finish at approximately 2.30 p.m.,after the award of prizes and a fund raising raffle.

If you are able to enter, please complete the application form below and return with your cheque made out to Rotary Club of Chester, places are limited so please apply as soon as possible. Donations of raffle prizes or sponsorship will of course be most gratefully received on behalf of the family.
