Alan Wilson was directly involved in using our last year's
donation to set up a support group dealing with adult male mental health
problems - with encouraging results. This group is called Moving Forward and one of it's members (Graham) told us about the work that the group undertakes. Using peer support the groups in Keighley, Bingley and Bradford have helped more than 130 people. Members usually get 6 to 12 sessions of counselling but can continue with the group as long as necessary rather than being left on their own as they are with the National Health. The group's aim is to get their members back to work and fully participating in the community. The group is now separate from Mind and has it's own board and bank account.
