Community Service

Christmas Activity

Amongst the more notable activities is the provision of gifts for the elderly each Christmas through our street collections accompanied by Father Christmas and his sleigh.

Rotary has also provided the High Street Christmas Tree supported by donations from local businesses.

Supporting local organisations

Each year Rotary assists the Royal British legion with Traffic Marshalls during the street closures on Remembrance Sunday.

Improving the environment

Helping to improve the environment is a more recent innovation and has included bulb planting around the Sir Archibald McIndoe statue, in front of Sackville College. The club has also restored and maintained the Millennium picnic area on the north bank of Weirwood Reservoir, near East Grinstead.
