Over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd March the four Rotary Clubs in Northampton organised their second Swimarathon, at Northampton High School in Newport Pagnell Road, Hardingstone, (previously know as the High School for Girls).
It was a great event. All the swimmers had a wonderful experience, with a great deal of laughter and much excitement. A total of 28 teams participated with 147 swimmers. In all they swam a total of 2,810 lengths of the 25 metre pool, covering a distance of 70,250 metres or nearly 44 miles.
