Edinburgh Park Station

Maintaining Station Platform Planters

The Rotary Club of Edinburgh, supported by the Rotary e-Club of Southern Scotland, maintains the eight planters on the platforms at the ScotRail Edinburgh Park Station.  On a weekly rota basis volunteer Club members tend and water the planters.  Yes, even in Scotland there is a need to water them!  Our aim is to provide some colour on the station’s windy platforms throughout the year.

Edinburgh Park Station lies at the south side of Edinburgh Business Park on the west of the city and provides an interchange for rail passengers with trams to and from Edinburgh Airport as well as a large commuting traffic flow for the Business Park itself.
