Members and partners from our Dutch twin club visited us over the weekend.

A total of 17 members and partners made the trip from SW Holland to Godalming on 20 May to spend 2 nights in the homes of Woolsack members. Residential hosts and their guests visited other Woolsack members for dinner on Friday evening and the whole party travelled to Goodwood on Saturday to enjoy a 'day at the races'.

Despite the chilly and overcast weather, everyone enjoyed the experience though not many managed to bet successfully on the horses. Any disappointment at losing their betting stakes was soon forgotten when everyone reconvened later at the Crown Inn in Chiddingfold for a most enjoyable dinner.

The cordial relations and good friendships that have grown between the members of our two clubs was very much in evidence over the weekend and we are all indebted to Rotarians Onno Tillema and David Kyd who worked so hard to make this visit a success.

Our thanks go to the GO members and partners for taking the time to visit us.
