Rotary Foundation

The Rotary Foundation offers garants that fund projects around the world to improve health, support education, and alleviate poverty. Examples are global vaccination programme to eradicate polio, and the financing of Sand Dams in Africa to help conservre rainwater in dry land enviroments.

We also supply 'Shelter Boxes' plastic containers which include amongst other items, a tent thermal blanket cooking pots and water filtration kit to provide shelter, warmth and comfort for a displaced family in the wake of crises or natural disasters.

As part of Foundation's active promotion of world peace and goodwill, we fund 'Rotary Peace Fellowship'  whereby individuals can pursue a garduate degree in international relations, peace, conflict resolution, and related subjects.

These are a few examples of the role of Rotary Foundation.
