The Pilates Studio in Surrey Street has been raising funds to buy a defibrillator that they will mount outside their entrance. This will be available to the whole Community in the unfortunate circumstance that a local person suffers from a heart attack. For Glossopians living north of the railway line this will become the closest one to them. The Rotary Club of Glossop has been delighted to make a donation of £100 to the Studio to help them achieve their aim. We hope that it doesn’t have to be used but it’s good to know that another one is being made available in the town should the need arise. Thank-you Pilates Studio.
