Five Ukrainian young people from across Monmouthshire attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Course in the Brecon Beacons. They joined 13 other young people from across South Wales and the South West of England.

Abergavenny Rotary Club in partnership with the Abergavenny Ukraine support group and the Rotary Southern Wales District RYLA Admin Team facilitated the attendance of five Ukrainian young people from across Monmouthshire on the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) course at the Storey Arms in the Brecon Beacons on 7th-12th August 2022. This was funded in full by the Rotary Southern Wales District Disaster Response Grant.

District Governor Wayne Morgan MBE joined the course on Thursday and took part in the caving session. Must be a first for a Rotary District Governor. Well done DG Wayne for taking part.
