Inter-Club Quiz - Area 6 Final

Abergavenny played Newport Rotary Club in the Area 6 Final of the Inter-Club Quiz Competition at the Monmouthshire Golf Club. The winners go on to play in the District Finals.


A very tightly fought contest between two strong teams. Abergavenny were leading by a small margin for most of the competition, but Newport pipped Abergavenny by one point to go 31-30 up in the last round to clinch the title of Area 6 Champions. Newport will now go on to compete in the District 1150 finals.

A very well attended event with over 30 Rotarians and partners from the two Clubs in attendance. A great night was had by one and all. Thank you Newport for making it such an enjoyable experience.

The Annual Steam Rally returned on 3rd and 4th June 2022 after a break of three years due to lockdown. The Rally is the main source of funds for the Rotary Club to donate to worthy causes via it's Charity the Abergavenny Rotary CIO.
