KINSMANS FUN DAY
Every year
the Kinsman and Treningle Residents Association organise the Kinsman Fun Day.
This year it was on the 12th August.
Bodmin Rotary love to
support this incredible community event and we always have a blast.
This year we sponsored the lovely Carolyn Maddox to go along and paint
some faces and we took along some games. The tug of wars were very popular; we
lost count of how many of those we did.
Then there was the hula challenge - hula champ Louise kept hulaing for two minutes and stopped or she would have been going all day. There were some interesting hula styles! And then there was the sack race.
Rtn. Pete Robinson refereed the tug of war like a pro, Carol Randall counted them down and encouraged, while Nigel Bolt and his son Ryan had several gos at the tug of war. Real People of Action we were.
The Bodmin Mayor and Mayoress came along , as did the Bishop of Truro and the Revd Elaine, Katie and their amazing helpers made this a great day.
Adie Dove and her KBSK dancers did a great show too. The weather was pants but it did not dampen the incredible community spirit. CR
