Community Raffle

The Devon and Cornwall Rotary Community Raffle, that we run with Otter Valley Rotary Club, has been drawn and the winners announced on https://dcrcr.org.uk/.  Nearly 15,000 tickets were sold raising nearly £13,500 for local organisations.

Soup Run

Two of our members joined the Plymouth Soup Run with members of Plymouth Mayflower Rotary Club and helped distribute food and coats to people who needed them in Plymouth.

Remembrance Sunday

Again we supported the RBL through selling poppies and laying wreaths at local services.

Wrap Up

We have been thrilled with the response to this project, which we ran for the first time this year.  We collected and distributed over 800 coats and other items to those in need.  Thank you to everyone who donated, helped us collect and distribute.

End Polio Day

End Polio Day is always in October and we will be supporting the cause again this year through buying and distributing purple crocus bulbs to schools, friends and family and by selling them at a charity stall in South Molton Market on 14th October.

Wrap Up

We are now up and running with our Wrap Up project for 2023 to collect good quality coats for distribution to charities that work with people who need them, mostly in North and South East Devon.  We have collection points in Honiton, Ottery St Mary, Sidmouth, South Molton and Tavistock.

We are working with Hands On London.  Find out more here:

New Honorary Member

We are pleased to start this Rotary year by welcoming Jane as an honorary member of our club.  While already a member of Rotary, Jane has been a regular attender of our club and avid supporter of all we do.  She has always joined in our conversations and activities and we were pleased to recognise her support by offering her this status.
