Santa Sleigh visits

Santa visited Alston Crescent area on Sunday 10th December; Side Cliff Road area on Wednesday 13th December; South Bents on Sunday 17th December. The weather was kind and the parents were generous. We hope the children enjoyed Santa's visit.

Sunday 10th December, commencing at 4.00 pm, Santa on his sleigh will be going down Alston Crescent and Dovedale Road, including the streets in between, until about 8.00 pm.  Weather permitting!

On Wednesday 13th , commencing at 6.00 pm, Santa on his sleigh will be going down Side Cliff Road, Fulwell Road to Atkinson Road and the streets in between up to Mere Knolls Road, returning up Neale St. until about 8.30 pm.  Weather permitting!

On Sunday 17th December, commencing at 4.00 pm, Santa on his sleigh will be covering all the streets on South Bents estate until about 8.00 pm.  Weather permitting!

We do hope those children living in these areas will have a chance to see and talk to Santa and that their parents will be supportive of our efforts.

Even if we miss you, we do hope that you have a happy and joyful Christmas.

This committee is concerned with the administration of the club. It incorporates: House; Registrar; Fellowship; Programme; Sport. The President Elect is usually the chairman of the committee, with other members taking a lead in each particular activity.

Each year a new card is painted by Rotarian Randle Oliver. These are sold to friends as well as other Rotary club members to raise funds for Rotary Foundation and other charities, including our own Benevolent Fund.

This new community venture opened in August 2017. The meetings are held at 2.00 pm on the last Wednesday each month.
