Rotary Young Chef at KHS

The first round of the School Competition of Rotary Young Chef takes place at KHS. Two finalists will go forward to compete head to head at the Food Festival in September 2024
This is the first School round of the 2024/25 Rotary Young Chef Competition held at KHS under the supervision of Food and Nutritionist Teacher Karen Brasington. There will be about a dozen pupils competiting this year at the school on 19 June and the judges will select two finalists to go forward to a head to head competition on the main stage in the market hall at the Abergavenny Food Festival in September 2024. The winner will then go onto the next stage of the Rotary Competition competing with other schools from our Area.

The Annual Steam Rally returned on 3rd and 4th June 2022 after a break of three years due to lockdown. The Rally is the main source of funds for the Rotary Club to donate to worthy causes via it's Charity the Abergavenny Rotary CIO.
