We will be welcoming Dr Brigid Hayden and Dr Madho Jingree to talk about care of mothers and babies in Liberia, West Africa.
Liberia is one of the poorest countries in the world, and consequently has one of the highest death rates in pregnancy and in childhood. The international medical charity Maternal & Child Health Advocacy International (MCAI) runs a project in Liberia, to support care of women and babies. Brigid and Madho are trustees of the charity, and take part in the video-teleconference-based training of healthcare professionals.
Brigid and Madho gave a talk to Rotary Guernesiais last year which was very well received.
This meeting is open to partners and guests, please could you confirm back to me if you will be attending by the 26th January at the latest.
