Scatter Week

No weekly meeting at Pinner Hill. Club members are requested to go and visit another Rotary club to promote our Bollywood Evening which is on November 15th.

In order to help Nayan and his team who are working very hard at selling the Bollywood event, we are not going to have a meeting at Pinner Hill on 8th October. Instead we will have a scatter week.

For the benefit of the newer members, that's a week when all club members are requested to go and visit another Rotary club. As Rotarians any club meeting is pretty much always open to us when we want to make a visit. It's sensible though to call first and book in if for no other reason than to check the meeting will be going ahead, unlike ours on 8th October.

Please ask Nayan or Malcolm for some of the Bollywood flyers if you don't have them. Many local clubs have already been visited but further reminders will not go amiss.

Also for the benefit of the newer members if you've not visited another club before, you may well be asked to say a few words. If not, as you are being asked to promote our event, you should ask to do so and your message should be started by saying you bring the greetings of President Nigel and all the members of Pinner club. After that you're on your own!!!

Please can you let me know which club you plan to visit. I will be bringing a list but it may not be possible to start passing it round next week when we are at Friends Restaurant. If you know you can't get to another club that week please let me know so I don't follow up with another email.
