Speaker: Johanna Le Poidevin, Executive Director of the 'Lloyds Bank Foundation for the Channel Islands'.
Subject: An insight into the work of the Lloyds Bank Foundation.


Johanna is the Executive Director of the 'Lloyds Bank Foundation for the Channel Islands' and joined in February 2016.

Johanna explained her role with the Foundation and the supoort the Foundation gives to the community.

Johanna has worked in the charitable sector for 18 years. Johanna worked for 11 years for Business in the Community, the Prince's Responsible Business Network as Business Development Director, Regional Director and Regional Operations Manager working with business to tackle key social issues.

Previous to that, Johanna worked for Future West, a sustainable development charity in roles managing employment and training programmes and environmental business management. Johanna has a MA in Environmental Policy and Management and a BA (Hons) in Geography and Environmental Studies.

We were also joined at Lunch by Ron Burton, member of the Rotary Club of Fayetteville, Arkansas USA, and Ron's better half Kitty Burton.

The Centenary Year of the Club is now with us and plans have been made for a year of commemoration, celebration and raising the awareness of Rotary within the community.


Community Services makes a difference to our Community.


International Services main role is too improve our contacts outside the Island.


The regular influx of new members to our club is absolutely vital to our long term future.
