The Defence Medical Welfare Service (DMWS) provides the Armed Forces Mental Health First Aid training course.
DMWS are an independent charity providing help and support to the Armed Forces community and other frontline staff whenever they are receiving medical treatment. For 75 years their practical and emotional support has ensured that no family goes through the worry of illness or injury alone.
The training course (click HERE for the flyer) teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. The course has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the whole Armed Forces community.
