Emily is the Executive Director of Guernsey Mind having been appointed as their first employee in 2010. She leads the strategic advocacy programme, working with the States to develop a broad range of community based services, and to promote the growth of the Third Sector.
Prior to working for Guernsey Mind, Emily spent 5 years as a programme manager in Geneva in the field of risk governance. She worked with international business, government and voluntary agencies to develop management strategies for emerging global phenomena, such as nanotechnology and carbon sequestration. Emily began her career working in the finance industry.
Emily is currently designing the implementation plan for the States of Guernsey Mental Health and Wellbeing strategy. She has two (lovely but cheeky) children.
Emily will be talking to us about the 'Train the Trainer' project that Rotary has supported with the funds raised at last years family picnic and the district matching grant.
