Pudding Club Fundraiser

As a result of a Pudding Club fundraiser by the Rotary Club of Rotary at Kingsholm at Hartpury Village Hall, donations of £1030.50 each have been made to the Gloucester City Mission and the Gloucester Foodbank.

The Pudding Club event was the idea of Rotarian Janet Swift who organised the whole event gathering support from other Rotarians and their partners, the local W.I. and friends from around the village.

A range of delicious homemade soups and speciality breads started off the evening followed by a vast array of homemade hot and cold puddings accompanied by gallons of custard and cream. So much so that many returned for seconds and some were known to have been back for thirds!!!

Entertainment was provided by the Leadon Vale Community Singers who as well as singing a varied programme to us, soon convinced all attending to join in with a range of popular songs.

Despite the travel difficulties there was a marvellous attendance who all left happy and FULL!
