2020 Saffery Rotary Walk **CANCELLED**

But first ….

NEXT YEAR – SAVE THE DATE – 5 JUNE 2021

As you would expect, we are anxious to come back bigger and better next year to make good that shortfall experienced by the worthy Bailiwick charities. Accordingly we plan to make the ’20/21 SAFFERY ROTARY WALK’ a fitting comeback of this amazing community event. Please save the proposed date in your diary – 5 June 2021.

REFUNDS

We proudly boast that ALL money given by walkers and their individual sponsors go straight to the charities without deduction. In view of the immense support of our main sponsor, Saffery Champness, who are picking up our cancellation costs, that promise still stands. 

Naturally all registration fees are refundable. The process of refunds will be managed through the Walk Committee. We invite all registered walkers to contact us within 30 days on info@safferyrotarywalk.org.gg selecting ONE of the following options:-

1. Confirmation that we may apply your registration fee as a donation to our Walk Charity Trust. We GUARANTEE to you that such donations will be forwarded to this year’s charities listed on our website, WITHOUT DEDUCTION.

1. That you would like your registration details, including your paid registration fee, automatically transferred to next year’s walk which will take place on 5 June 2021.

1. That you would like your registration fee to be returned to you via the same means by which it was paid – but leaving with us for the benefit of the nominated charities any additional donations or sponsorship loaded on your account.

1. That you would like all monies to be returned to you via the same means by which they were paid.

We expect all refunds to be processed within 21 days of hearing from you. Please do not contact Race Nation directly on the matter of refunds.

IN CONCLUSION

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all our registered walkers and volunteers  for showing us support for this year’s walk. We are of course devastated that we can’t reciprocate by welcoming you to join us. But please stay in touch. It is so important that we come back stronger and better next year to continue the amazing tradition of Guernsey’s pre-eminent sponsored walk around its wonderful coastline.
